Cookies are small pieces of information saved by a browser or sent with website requests. Similar technologies, such as localStorage and sessionStorage, can remember settings or temporary actions on your device.

Some storage helps account login work. Other technologies may be optional and require a clear choice before use, depending on the law where you live.

HEYBIO's current Supabase server integration is designed to use cookies to maintain authenticated sessions and support account security. These are necessary for login and protected actions.

Disabling essential cookies in your browser may prevent signing in or staying signed in. This does not mean all cookies are automatically necessary.

The code reviewed for this policy includes a localStorage preference key named heybio_cookie_preferences_v1. It stores the optional categories selected in this browser and the time the choice was made.

Session storage may temporarily preserve an intended username during signup and onboarding so that it is not lost on navigation. Browser and operating system tools may delete local storage when data is cleared.

Necessary: supports sign-in, security and essential interactions and cannot generally be disabled without affecting those functions.

Optional analytics: would support measurement tools if those are introduced and correctly connected to consent checks.

Optional marketing: would support advertising or campaign tools if introduced and correctly connected to consent checks.

Cloudflare and Supabase may use their own technically necessary mechanisms when providing hosting and authentication. If HEYBIO enables paid checkout, Razorpay may use technologies governed by its own privacy and cookie terms during payment.

If you need the name or lifespan of a particular provider cookie, contact us and specify which product function you used.

Use the preferences panel above to save or reject optional choices in your current browser. You can revisit this page at any time to update those preferences.

If you clear browser storage or use a different device, HEYBIO may no longer have your previous selection on that device. Blocking cookies through browser settings may impact login.

Most browsers allow you to view or remove cookies and site data, block third-party cookies and clear local storage. Controls vary by device and browser.

Browser controls are separate from any permissions you grant directly to an external website reached through a creator's link.

A session cookie may expire at the end of a browser session or at the time set by the authentication provider; persistent storage can remain until it expires, is replaced or is removed by you or the browser.

The stored HEYBIO preference record does not currently implement its own automatic expiry. You can remove that record by clearing site data in your browser or replace it by saving new choices above.

As HEYBIO grows, categories and providers may change. If we add optional technologies, we will update our disclosure and respect any choices required by applicable law.

Material updates should be communicated when required; the date at the top of this page will be updated.
